Maintaining weight and physical health is already difficult with a gym membership let alone during a pandemic when all our favorite recreational places are closed. With that in mind, here a few exercise tips to help maintain your physical health during this pandemic:
- Start slow. Try to keep up with 3 days a week to focus on your fitness.
- Pick up yoga. It is a great way to relax your mind and burn a few calories.
- Lift weights. A great way to lose calories and increase muscle definition. If you do not have weights at home, try using gallons or bottles of water.
- Take an evening walk. Walking is physical exercise! Walk around the neighborhood with family each evening to get out of the house and enjoy some fresh air.
As always, please consult with your physician before starting a new exercise program and remember to have FUN!
