On Tuesday, October 23rd, Patty’s Pals Foundation hosted a Ladies Night at FoxFire Restaurant in Geneva, IL to raise money for the Kellogg Cancer Center and their fight against breast cancer. Assisting Hands Home Care in Schaumburg was proud to have participated in this event and help raise money to support breast cancer patients and their families through their treatment and recovery.
About Ladies Night
Ladies Night is a fundraising event for women to come together for a night of fun with good food, drinks, and several activities. This year’s event included specialty entrees, rosé flights, Penrose Brewery beer tasting, raffle prizes, glassware painting, and live music.
Participants also got complimentary make-up and pink hair extensions with a donation of $10. The women who participate in this event always have a great time, especially knowing that they are helping a good cause.
About Patty’s Pals Foundation
The Patty’s Pals Foundation is a group of friends and family members that was created when Patricia Kraegel was diagnosed with breast cancer. They hold fundraising events such as Ladies Night to help raise money for non-profit organizations that provide care for cancer patients and do research for care, prevention, and treatments.
Ladies Night was put on to raise money for the Kellogg Cancer Center which provides personalized treatment and support for cancer patients and engages in research to improve cancer treatment, detection, and prevention.

Daniela spent more than 14 years as the Assistant Vice President of a national bank before becoming a co-owner of Assisting Hands Home Care of Schaumburg.
Her background in public relations and marketing along with her personal experience caring for her mother motivates Daniela to be passionate about helping families in the Schaumburg, IL area find exceptional caregiving services for their elderly loved ones.
Besides providing home care, Daniela enjoys giving back to the community in her free time, supporting various events at St. Peter Parish in Geneva, IL such as fundraising, school projects, charity events, and more. She also enjoys volunteering for the Humanitarian Service Project in Carol Stream, IL. This organization provides seniors with meals as well as food and supplies for children living in poverty.
