Holiday Extravaganza

Assisting Hands Home Care Schaumburg/Park Ridge was proud to attend and sponsor a heartwarming Christmas holiday party for the seniors in our Schaumburg community, creating a joyful atmosphere filled with festive cheer. The celebration featured lively music that got everyone tapping their feet and dancing, creating unforgettable moments for our cherished seniors.

This festive event is a celebration of togetherness, spreading warmth and cheer to those who have paved the way for us. With gratitude, we create lasting memories and ensure that the holiday season is filled with joy and companionship for our cherished seniors.

Assisting Hands Holiday Cheer

Assisting Hands Schaumburg has dedicated itself to supporting various charitable causes through its active fundraising initiatives. At a recent event held on Saturday evening in Schaumburg, Illinois, the organization’s President, Daniela Momtcheva, had the honor of presenting a gift to the fortunate individual who emerged as the winner of the fundraising event. This event was not just a standard gathering; it was made even more significant with the presence of a notable figure, Maria Pappas, the Cook County Treasurer. Her attendance as a special guest added an extra layer of prestige and recognition to the efforts and success of the fundraising event.

Employee Appreciation BBQ

The Assisting Hand Schaumburg /Park Ridge had Caregiving Appreciation Party on September 14th.The event was a heartwarming celebration that brought together caregivers, volunteers, and the community in an atmosphere filled with gratitude and joy.  Laughter and smiles filled the room as caregivers shared their heartwarming stories of making a difference in the lives of those they cared for, reminding everyone of the positive impact they’ve had. Guests enjoyed a delicious food cooked by the management team, life music, prizes, drinks and a lot of fun.

FEAR 2023: Assisting Hands Schaumburg/Park Ridge in Cancún

Last month, we attended the Franchise Education Adventure Retreat (FEAR) 2023 in Cancún, Mexico. We were happy that we were nominated for our outstanding client service and community impact, bringing home several awards!

Assisting Hand Home Care in Schaumburg Attended Annual Flag Day Event

We were very excited to once again be part of the Annual Flag Day Event in person that took place on June 3, 2022.  Assisting Hands Home Care of Schaumburg is a proud sponsor and volunteer for this event as we feel that it is very important to celebrate Flag Day and honor the dedication and sacrifices made by current service members and veterans of the U.S. armed forces.

May 2022 Caregiver Appreciation Event

On May 18th, 2022, Assisting Hands Home Care Schaumburg/ Park Ridge, celebrated our caregivers and appreciated all of them by treating the team to lunch, gifts and prizes. Every day we are faced with new challenges and our Assisting Hands Home Care Schaumburg/ Park Ridge team always makes it a priority to provide for our clients.

An Act of Kindness

In the last couple of months one of our amazing caregivers has had a difficult time with her living situation. Our office came together to provide her with a basket of essentials for her new living situation!

Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Month!

August 4th was National Chocolate Cookie Day! Did you know that the first chocolate chip cookie was made by mistake? Ruth Graves Wakefield was planning to make regular chocolate cookies but had the billion dollar idea to throw in chunks of a chocolate bar instead.
