About Parkinson’s Disease
Parkinson’s is a neurologically degenerative disease that affects the patient’s physical movements and cognitve abilities of the brain. Affecting 1 million Americans today, those suffering in the later stages will experience tremors, stiff muscles, shakiness, poor balance, and even difficulties speaking.
Parkinson’s usually starts at the age of 20, but may not be noticed until years later. Currently, there is no cure for Parkinson’s disease, but professional home care agencies are always working to keep them safe and comfortable in their own home.
