Assisting Hands Home Care in Schaumburg is not only dedicated to providing effective home care services for senior citizens, but also to helping seniors in our local community. Last month, Assisting Hands Home Care helped sponsor the Happy Healthy Holiday Expo. The event took place on December 14th at the Barn Senior Center in Schaumburg, IL.
About the Event
The all-day event that included exercise activities, artisan vendors, healthy snacks and cooking demonstrations, and music. There was also a raffle in which attendees could win prizes that were donated for the event.
The staff from Assisting Hands Home Care in Schaumburg were happy to donate prizes for the raffle and participate in the activities. The holidays can be a lonely time for some senior citizens, but this event helped to relieve these feelings and bring some holiday cheer to the seniors of the Barn Senior Center.

“Assisting Hands donated a gift basket for the Christmas Raffle at the party that brought great cheer to the attendees. We are proud to have participated and learned so much from our fantastic local seniors.”

Daniela spent more than 14 years as the Assistant Vice President of a national bank before becoming a co-owner of Assisting Hands Home Care of Schaumburg.
Her background in public relations and marketing along with her personal experience caring for her mother motivates Daniela to be passionate about helping families in the Schaumburg, IL area find exceptional caregiving services for their elderly loved ones.
Besides providing home care, Daniela enjoys giving back to the community in her free time, supporting various events at St. Peter Parish in Geneva, IL such as fundraising, school projects, charity events, and more. She also enjoys volunteering for the Humanitarian Service Project in Carol Stream, IL. This organization provides seniors with meals as well as food and supplies for children living in poverty.
